A recurring observance

Memorial Day at the GAR Cemetery

Each year, volunteers gather ahead of Memorial Day to clean headstones and place flags across the grounds, honoring the Union veterans buried at the GAR. Scout troops and GAR – Stevens Camp officials have long taken part in the observance.
